Your work stays yours.

Creators on Obscure Exhibit clip content that brands give them the rights to use. If a clip uses your work without permission, tell us and we will act on it.

1. Report a clip.

Use our report form and choose Copyright (DMCA). It asks for what a valid notice needs:

  • the work you own, and the link to the clip that uses it;
  • your name and an email we can reach you at;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the work or act for its owner.

You can also email info@obscurexhibit.com with the same details.

2. What we do.

We reply to copyright reports within 24 hours. When a notice is complete, we remove the clip from Obscure Exhibit and let the creator who submitted it know.

3. If your clip was taken down.

If you believe it was removed by mistake, or that you had the right to use the work, reply to the email we sent you with a counter-notice: your name and contact details, the clip, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe it was removed by mistake. We pass it to the person who reported it.

4. Repeat infringement.

We may close the accounts of creators who repeatedly post work they do not have the right to use.

5. Clips on other platforms.

Clips are posted to the creator's own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X account. To have a post removed from one of those platforms, report it to that platform as well.
