Terms

Terms of service.

Last updated · June 2026

1. The arrangement.

Obscure Exhibit runs an invite-only marketplace where vetted brands fund clipping campaigns and approved creators ship clips against them. By using the platform you agree to these terms as a creator, a brand, or an agency operating on behalf of either.

2. Eligibility & vetting.

Access requires an application reviewed by our team. We reserve the right to decline applications without explanation, and to remove accounts that violate these terms, present a risk to the platform's integrity, or fail our trust signals — including bot-traffic detection.

3. Payments.

Brands fund campaigns upfront via Stripe. Creators are paid for verified views and approved clips per the per-campaign rules. Payouts route through Stripe Connect to your linked bank account. Currency is USD unless otherwise noted. Disputes are surfaced through the in-app reporting flow.

4. Content & rights.

Creators retain ownership of clips they make. Submitting a clip to a campaign grants the brand a license to use it for the campaign's stated purpose. Brands grant creators the right to use referenced assets within the scope of the campaign treatment. Either party may not repurpose the other's IP outside the agreed scope.

5. Prohibited behavior.

  • Inflating views with bot traffic, click farms, or paid engagement networks.
  • Submitting plagiarized, AI-generated impersonation, or rights-infringing content.
  • Harassment, doxxing, or targeted abuse of other platform users.
  • Circumventing platform fees by transacting off-platform after an introduction.
  • Misrepresenting your identity, audience, or work.

6. Data & privacy.

We collect what we need to run the platform — see the privacy policy. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time; financial records may be retained for tax and audit purposes.

7. Termination.

We can suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms or platform-integrity violations. Outstanding payouts on approved clips are processed even after termination, subject to anti-fraud holds.

8. Changes.

We'll notify users of material changes to these terms with at least 14 days notice before they take effect, surfaced both in the in-app inbox and by email.

9. Contact.
